Have you ever wondered what ingredients make the perfect festival? How about glorious sunshine, the beach, glistening clear waters and of course a soundtrack fit for the holiday of a lifetime... Sound good? Well for 3 days each July Soundwave Festival, set in the stunning woody peninsula near the small village of Petrcane, Croatia, offers all this and more. We love this festival so much we have put together an extra special package to make your life easier.  The festival vibe: The festival site, known as The Garden Petrcane, is situated in a beautiful region of Croatia close to Zadar in the pretty fishing village of Petrcane. Set in a woody peninsular where the Dalmation Coast meets the Adriatic Sea the festival boasts an outside Amphitheatre for live acts, a Beach Side Terrace, and a 600 capacity nightclub where the beat goes on right through the night. You can swim in the glistening Adriatic, dance on the beach under the stars, join like minded party goers aboard the swashbuckling Boat Parties and get your groove on to the Funktion 1 Soundsystem in the retro Studio 54 styled nightclub. When you're done with the dancing you can lick back and relax beneath the pines along the forested coastline. Perfect! The 2011 line up: This year Soundwave Festival brings you the mighty Roots Manuva, blissed out, bass heavy beats from Zero 7 DJs, the lush soundscapes of Bonobo (with full live band) and the Swedish pop group Little Dragon, as well as over 50 other amazing acts providing you with all the sunshine music you will ever need. Whilst you are there: The 900 year old village of Petrcane is almost as much a part of the festival as the site itself. Most of the festival goers from the UK and Ireland/Europe stay in the village and fall in love with this enchanting place, with lovely seafood restaurants and friendly cafes it adds to the festival experience enormously and is just a couple of minutes walk around the bay. We have a great range of hotels, local apartments and private villas, and if you really want to treat yourself, ask us about our yacht charter. We can arrange a full package including tickets, accommodations and all transportation so all you need to do is chill and enjoy the festival.
