Our experts will take you on a journey through Seville's influential gypsy areas, retracing the history and visiting local shows where you'll experience the rare Spanish art of "duende", a performance so full of emotion, expression and authenticity that it will give you chills. Feel the rhythm Away from the tourist streets a flamenco expert will guide you to the bars and clubs to witness the electrifying rhythms, commanding vocals and foot stamping, heart stopping dance that has caused Flamenco to become the most popular dance in Spain.
Get involved We will organise lessons with the professionals, who will teach you the steps, the soul and rhythm helping to unravel this fascinating culture. We will help you understand the magic world of flamenco dancing and music with live shows, taking you to off-beat bars where you will have the chance to meet the characters that play a large part in the flamenco culture. Our guide, Jaime, a flamenco artist manager, cultural organiser, musicologist and pianist born in Triana, Seville, will be your guide on this rich musical journey.
Back to the roots We can also take you into the heart of one of the poorest neighbourhoods where the infamous Torombo (one of the best flamenco dancers in Spain) is working on a social integration project; educating children to take on their gypsy roots and embrace the flamenco culture. This is where the best dancers started their careers and where you have the chance to experience the dance in every day life.
