I love music and I love travel. Eight years of experience working in the travel world has gone some way to finding the perfect job, but combining music achieves it. Surely the best times combine both? I can trace my love of music to the Tops of the Pops album for 1978, and from there I moved through every genre from Psychobilly to Acid Jazz, culminating in some laughable DJ'ing at University. Travel took an equal hold early on and sent me around the world in a variety of ways in a variety of guises: kayaking in Croatia, onion picking in Australia, trekking in Nepal, live firing in Belize. Within travel, surfing, climbing, hiking and now sailing are my passions, and with two children, Milton Nasciemento has made way for Peter and the Wolf, and climbing the Tetons has been forsaken for tandem cycle holidays in Ireland. The passions still burn.
The excitement lies in places where through music you get to know somewhere more deeply, and through travel you get to understand and appreciate the music far more.
